James Chapel - Leroy - Completion Phase

Pray, Paint or Both?

You've been reading about it since the first letter from us at mannaworks. The first phase in December was the repair of the foundation. The second phase was in January and included the roof, ceiling and installation of new windows. (This was accomplished in a day by our hardworking volunteers from Harris Creek Baptist Church in spite of a chilly, muddy work environment). Now that the weather has improved we can complete the job with a day of painting and finishing the woodwork around the windows.

If you'll be praying:

  • Pray for the safety of our volunteers.
  • Pray that the weather will cooperate.
  • Pray that we'll have a good time of fellowship with each other and our friends at James Chapel.

If you're a volunteer from Harris Creek and will be painting:

  • Work will begin at 8:00am.
  • Wear work clothes.
  • Bring painting supplies if you have them. (This includes heavy nap rollers, brushes, extensions, painting pans, scrapers, caulking guns and ladders).

If you'll be doing both:

  • Thanks! That's even better!

What about their worn carpet (with our muddy footprints on it)? Donors have generously given money to mannaworks and James Chapel that is specifically designated for this project. The donated funds cover the cost of the entire project, including new carpet. The carpet will be replaced soon after this weekend's work day. It will be installed by Bill Hillis and Waco Carpet.
We are actively involved in several other projects and will update you about those in the near future.

Thanks for your prayers and support,

mannaworks
